Wondering About Magnets

Of course permanent magnets are used to accomplish electronic objective.

Of course permanent magnets are used to accomplish electronic objective.

Famous examples are the magnet in a loudspeaker, the magnets in the thing on the neck of a TV picture tube, magnetic switches, generator magnets…

But what about antennas. Sure we hear about the electroMAGNETIC spectrum, but have magnets ever been employed in an antenna design?
