Total posts : 45366Those older boxes should still decode and trigger the audio breakaway box and pass the incoming audio off the receiver decks as usual. As to the print out of correct identifier info, or send out correct header data upon activating a local test or sending header data upon receiving a test or warning, those might not be.

Total posts : 45366thats what i heard i just want it to trigger the relay and pass the emergency message is all. i’m not worried about printouts and identifiers and such as any relevant info to the public will be passed in the audio message.
now when the message is done will the relay go back to normal and pass program audio again.

There should not be any reason why it wouldn’t. If I recall the protocol in the firmware, the data bits that open up the trigger port to flip the breakout box over to the receiver decks and back is the same protocol, so that should still function coming out of program to incoming message and back out to program.
