What Would YOU Like to See?
Just wondering – but if there was an online store that catered to Part 15 exclusively – what would you like to see?
Type Accepted Equipment, Kits, Telephone Hybrids, Distribution Amps, Freeware utilities in one spot, Music compilations, etc…
Be as specific as you like, include prices and that sort of thing.
This is an exercise that will result in one of 3 things: An online store, A store-like collection of links, or nothing at all 😉

[/quote:a33f2dac38]All the above and how about used Professional and Semi professional equipment too! Most of the equipment a person needs to make their station sound a bit more professional can be found on Ebay if you know what your looking for and where to look. I’m not talking pirate radio transmitters.
Items like Mixers, Compressors, Gates, Limiters, PCsound boards. Another thing I’ve thought would be great would be a “Workbench” sort of forum where a person could quickly go to get “static” information such as how to build a 40 db audio unbalanced pad and post a tech question for others using the site.
Yes, I guess the moon might be fine too….

On the note of “getting static info” and a “workbench forum” – and general information, between part15.us and lpam.net – I think these two sites really cover that kind of stuff pretty well.. oh.. and ramsey’s tech forum..
I’m thinking more of a store with a web front end kind of thing.

There you go with that tech talk – you lose me every time 8)
We needs the goodies, all kinds. I’ve heard a micro-watt meter for fine tuning part 15 AM antennas might be available some day. I’d sure like to get stuff like that. 😮
Also Ferrite Torriods and Ferrite bar stock for compact matching inductors, and those 350 mfd multi gang air vairable plate capacitors, also for antenna tuning, and maybe a selection of magnet wire for coil making, and some MW xtals for rock boxes, and…
