anyone have thoughts positive or negative?
neither a Belar or Inovonics monitor seems to be forthcoming so i am looking at the REA instead.
one psoitive i see is the REA is portable. i can bring it to both my remote and main sites to check modulation.

Total posts : 45366I had one. It seemed to work just fine. I found it awkward to have to own and operate a Windows PC (I live in an Apple Mac world) and it seemed kind of “mickey mouse” to me. I *must* have written up something about it here in the forums at some point. But not 100% sure.
I sold it and bought an Inovonics 525. The 525 makes it easy for me to keep tabs on the full power stations where I work (and our competition) so I could justify the expense as a business investment.
But the REA did work and I compared it to readings on a Belar out at the full power station, and the readings were consistent.
I had to have a loop antenna very near my Part 15 antenna to get solid readings.
