I did notice some things that aren’t exactly correct however.
On slide 3 it makes it seem as though before 2000 there was no part 15 broadcasting, I would add some clarification on this.
Slide 5 is incorrect regarding the rules for SW and LW use.
LW is 1 watt of power and a 15 meter long antenna between 160 – 190 kilohertz.
SW is mostly 13.560 mHz with a power level of around 5mW, hopefully somoene can bring up specifics.
Regarding slide 6, technically there are no content restrictions on Part 15 stations, however I do agree it is good practice to follow the same content guidelines as the big guys.

Total posts : 45366“Other Rules and Regulations”…antenna is limited in length, not size or height or type.
“Station Content”…the Part 15 rules do not address content at all so the “FCC Censor” statement is not needed.
On the slide listing some stations it may be good to point out that the “call signs” are not FCC issued and that call signs are neither issued or required.
Thanks to you and also to Bob for doing this. I know you will make us all proud!

Total posts : 45366I added The ALPB audio promo to The ALPB logo. The file went from 1.2 mb to 16 mb so it’ll take a little longer to download.
