Total posts : 45366The first 54-minutes of the State of the Station 2015 Blare OnAir program consists of argument among the staff as to what we should say. It was only in the last few seconds that we got it together and said something.
For listeners with no time to spare, we bring the 30-second State of the Station 2015 Address separate from all the palaver.
To Rich Powers: Thank you. I wondered right away when you stopped posting on either website, and eventually sent you an e-mail via the contact form on your website asking your how-abouts, receiving no reply. Excellent to have you back in action around here with a fabulous sailboat experiment. To Artisan Radio: Deep thanks for greeting me and I’ll say that I’ve been hovering everyday to observe the healthy back-and-forth happening here at part15.December 15, 2015 at 12:54 am #45732RichPowers

Total posts : 45366Carl, I don’t recall any email from you which I did not reply to.. I should really check to see what kind of contact form I have set up there, cause I don’t even remember.. That site is a cost-free server which has never cost me a dime,.. it used to just require a link back to them on the site pages, but nowdays they throw up a big pop-up when you enter the site which is annoying as hell- But you get what you pay for.
Anyway, you ought to have my email anyway, or you could have contacted me through here.. Or maybe I just accidently missed your email in the midst of the many junk I deleate everyday.
I’m going to listen to you tonight, see what I’ve been missing..

Total posts : 45366I dowloaded the episode and sat down to listen but found myself starting it over three times within the first minute, because I was browsing the web at the same time, which is a little distracting.. and it didn’t help that some episode of Ancient Aliens on tv with something about Vikings.. So it was playing – then suddenly I felt a puzzled question… What is he talking about?” (not the Ancient Alien guy,- you)
So I rewound it one minute back to the begining and started over..
I went through the exact same proccess the second time.. and started it over, only that time I first muted the tv, and closed the web browser..
I hit play..Less than a minute later, I said “Huh??”.. Not from something you were talking about, but from the fact that I again didn’t know what you were talking about. I was distracted because I was looking for my cigarettes. If you’re not a smoker, you have no idea what’s it’s like to reach for a cigarette which is not there. Fortunately I found them on the dining table where I had laid them. Relieved that things don’t move around on their own, I lit a smoke and headed back to the couch to start your show over again.
There was only one thing I’m sure of… Your irritated.
I’m curious to find out why, rewind, play..Surprise, surprise. I have to start it all over again for the fourth time.. I was distracted because I had opened the browserto post here a little story about how I had to restart this edition of ‘State of the Station’ three times within the first minute.
I’m not sure why I did that.
Play..

Total posts : 45366Reacting to Rich Power’s difficulty with the first minute of “State of the Station 2015”, Carl Blare has abruptly and without thinking produced a reactionary follow up edition of Blare OnAir titled “Beyond Understanding”, hoping to clarify why your cigarettes seemed to be where you put them even though they weren’t there the first time you looked.

Total posts : 45366That was an outrageslously nonsensical praise you dished out Carl. Next time wait until after the show to have a few drinks.
