Could anybody tell me how to set up an antenna for the SS Tran AMT3000, and how far can a 102″ CB whip antenna put out properly connected and grounded?
P.S. If I did set up antenna besides a whip would it have to have a coil?Could anybody tell me how to set up an antenna for the SS Tran AMT3000, and how far can a 102″ CB whip antenna put out properly connected and grounded?

Anything much shorter, and an loading coil will be needed to match the antenna to the transmitter. For Part 15 three meter length limits, yes, definitely.
