Check this out guys…
I was cleaning out a radio station and found this LP-1a Pre-Amplified Shielded Loop.
I’m going to put it on my tower with a rotor and get a DC-Injector for the pre-amp.
Gonna do some DXing with my Kenwood TS430 🙂

Thanks for telling me about this, I really need something to sniff out those low power hobby broadcasters for fun that are lurking around
my local area. Is there another design that covers the longwave
bands 150 kHz to 520 kHz (for possible LW DXing and Lowfer monitoring) and also another one that covers 530 kHz
to 1720 kHz? Also how do I get one of these, are they expensive?Please let me know thanks.

Total posts : 45366I lucked into this one at a radio station. they were going to toss it in the trash. They retail for about $500.00 for the unamplified version.
