True journalists are adapting to the present news culture by joining forces, and KDX Worldround Radio is involved in this evolutionary movement.
On Election Night this past Tuesday KDX carried the 6-hour live coverage from Dermocracy Now and their co-operative partnership with The Intercept, the news site launched by Edward Snowden.
KDX also carries the weekly “Intercepted” program with Jeremy Scahill, who sat in with Amy Goodman, Juan Gonzalez and Ralph Nader.
The following day, Wednesday, KDX began live carriage of “The Thom Hartmann Program”, and Thursday Thom did his show from the offices of Pro Publica and today from offices of “The Nation Magazine”.
These joint ventures present a just response to the fading era of juvenile hate radio.
Evenings on KDX now bring 3-live hours of “Free Talk Live” from Keene, New Hampshire, which gives our audience the real-time opportunity to call in and speak.
In the near future I (Carl) will be test-driving a live talk show from right here at my keyboard. No decision now as to whether we will invite callers.
KDX is heard globally by stream and locally by AM & FM Part 15.

Radio news tends to be more accurate than other forms.
For example, you can’t show fake video on a radio broadcast.

Two Sides of Many Coins
Artisan understands, “You can’t show fake video on a radio broadcast.”
That is absolutely true, but is somewhat offset by the fact that true video can’t be shown on radio either.

With radio news, you have to use your intellect, common sense & logic to come to a conclusion – traits that are ubfortunately in short supply these days.
