I will leave this here, it’s from Westwood One.
This article shows that radio has some pretty loyal followers.

Total posts : 45366Radio is without a doubt far from seeing its demise. Radio is still the most reliable and accessible form of instant media. In markets where radio is local, radio remains king. An interesting note is how much the spanish speaking countries listen to radio, as evidenced by listening trends within the US. No single ethnicity uses radio as much as the spanish speakers, additionally many spanish formats are done locally.

Total posts : 45366Thank you Barry for “leaving this here”, the excellent report on how popular radio remains.
And Retro, here’s an interesting memory from the 1980s when I was buddies with a historian who told me that the most spoken language in the world would soon be Spanish.
I picked out a category near and dear to me, that is Spoken Word at 16%.
The expression “spoken word” is something to ponder… what else is “word” but “spoken”?
On KDX we speak words!
