That pretty much says it all.  It looks like

the top AM DX portable radio of all time is 

the famous Panasonic RF-2200.  I never owned one,

but I used one once and liked it a lot.

The list goes from best to “not as good 

as best” but still pretty good.  This is a long

list — I either owned or still do own some

of the radios that are on it.

If I get a chance, I’ll come back and mention a few.
