I’m planning to eventually put a Rangemaster on the air. I first need to reconfigure my little home office for all the studio gear needed. Half of it is already in place.

Total posts : 45366On AM, 100 milliwatts into a 10 foot (three meter) antenna. There’s no distance limitations.

On AM, nothing to worry about, if you broadcast in the band extension: 1620 to 1710 kHz.
But your subject line states “lpfm.” That’s a different situation. It’s more restrictive and the legal range is much less. For a serious Part 15 (FCC-legal) broadcast station, AM is the only way to go.
