Total posts : 45366There was a great suggestion a while back to use twin lead antenna cable for radials – you get 2 radials in one wire.
I wonder if anyone has tried using something like CAT 5 network cable – basically 8 insulated radials in one wire? And pretty cheap as well. Any reasons why this may not work?

Total posts : 45366Cat will work as long as the wires are spaced out at the far ends.

Total posts : 45366It turns out the clay-based litter (before being used by the cat) is a good way to improve ground conductivity:
