I am re-inventing Blue Bucket Radio which is just a funny way of saying, i need new programming. I really don’t want this station to be all music all of the time, i like to carry talk shows even if they are actually podcasts.
To me there is no difference. Talk shows and podcasts are basically fueled by someone conveying their opinions, thoughts and ideas. A potpurri of topics conveyed over the airwaves or the internet for human consumption and interaction.
What i have so far is programming from:
Carl Blare – KDX Radio
Tims Oompah Hour & Headlines – Iron Range Country Radio
A-Trains Rants – WHAR 92.9
And of course our in-house production of The Little Things Radio Show – BBRThat’s just a few hours of programming per broadcast day. In between a folder with podcast’s from the past are played randomly to fill air time. Other than that it’s a mix of what ever music i could find that isn’t frowned on by the powers that be. Usually music I have been given permission to air on the radio/internet and stuff from the public domain.
I really need more though. And yes, i have been digging around on the part15.us Library but several of those links seem out dated.
Help!

He goes out of town a lot and does programs from different countries, so the trick is to catch up with him at the right time.
Meanwhile you can download his shows from his website and from radio4all.net, they are just a little later compared to the FTP download site.

Total posts : 45366Blue Bucket Radio will be carrying programming from Radio Cairo to N. America.
Radio Cairo to North America is a shortwave service from Cairo with news other programs produced at their studio’s. I have their station and one of their announcers as a friend on Facebook.
Very nice people there and always a pleasure to chat with.
Their program is carried via Ustream.tv so i will be picking up their program from Ustream.
I have meant to ask so many times before during our chats, but usually our conversations are about home life, war, politics and the like.Barry of Blue Bucket Radio 89.7 FM & Am 1520

Total posts : 45366News straight from Cairo, my friend there let me know things are fairly stable there and for the most part the country is secure. At least Egypt is. Keep in mind, the biggest part of the population there is Muslim with Christianity following a close second.
I have a great respect for their team at Radio Cairo and have always had great conversations with them. Whether it is about family matters or about the current events around the world.
I look forward to airing their programs.
By the way, I get their shortwave broadcasts here in the mountains but it is hit or miss most of the time. Even with a long wire antenna. Sometimes a relay station with better coverage will blast into the Appalachian’s carrying Radio Cairo. A real treat.Barry of Blue Bucket Radio
