Hi,
I would like to create a coverage map like I have seen on various websites. What map service do I use? Thanks everyone.

Total posts : 45366A few weeks ago I posted an idea I had using Google Earth to plot out a coverage map .

http://www.part15.us/node/2070Others have used similar techniques so you may have to experiment with a couple radio’s and your favorite mode of transportation.
I used two radio’s, the factory stereo in my Pontiac Transport which use’s an in glass dipole mounted in the windshield and a walkman or portable radio.Drive around town listening to your signal and use your best judgment.
It’s not rocket science and mostly hit-and-miss but a fairly accurate map can be created using my method.
