Is it already 2013 in New Zealand? Time zones can be very confusing, especially when placing feet on either side of a line can allow standing half in today and half in tomorrow. I try to do that on April 15th, tax day in the U.S.
The International Time Line is a scary place, I think it’s in the Pacific somewhere, the place where time vanishes.
I won’t be able to join you for a few days, I don’t have a 2013 calendar.
Have fun and drive.

TLC: “It turns out that “Auld Lang Syne” is an extremely old Scottish song that was first written down in the 1700s. Robert Burns is the person whose transcription got the most attention, so the song is associated with him.
According to this page, a good translation of the words “auld lang syne” is “times gone by.” So (incorporating a couple of other translations) when we sing this song, we are saying, “We’ll drink a cup of kindness yet for times gone by.””
For times gone by and new ones yet to be, come and join us at The ALPB.

It’s getting better all the time.

Total posts : 45366Singing songs? Better make sure we don’t break the meeting recording mechanism.
And a very happy new year to my fellow Part 15 broadcasters (and soon-to-be broadcasters).

Total posts : 45366Women can be very smart, Johnny, they can see a man for his quality and not just looks. There are some women who realize that older dudes are much better companions.
To really make a sale let them know you own a radio station.
After a few days you’ll find yourself saying, “Ladies, I’ll have to ask you to leave.”

Total posts : 45366It’s 23:16 EST. I’ve a fire going in the fireplace to ward off the cold, snowy weather here.
I’m not receiving the PCJ Media New Years stream, bummer.
Won’t see the babes in Bikinis for another 6 months. Double bummer.
Count your blessings. By the way, I had just popped a bowl myself.
