Total posts : 45366i have added more. why there seems to be no interest i just don’t understand. i have never ripped anyone off ever if that is the fear people have. i have 100% ebay feedback and nothing negative posted anywhere about me ever stiffing anyone.
i am compulsively honest and willing to negotiate on price with most stuff.
you can look up kc8gpd on ebay to see my rating.

Total posts : 45366I do not think it has anything to do with lack of confidence or lack of interest.
It is most likely lack of spare funds..as these days many have to choose between a loaf of bread on the table or gas in the tank to get to work to make that money for the loaf of bread or gas.
You might also list your items on other radio forums.
Let me see if I can point a few potential buyers your way.

Total posts : 45366i have a lady here pointing buyers my way for the bulky non shippable, non electronic items which really need to be offloaded before i can get back into storage and start cataloging the rest. i really need most of the stuff in storage gone. i need to be able to move in a small panel van rather than a 16ft uhaul. i have started to broach the topic with my girl about leaving the USA either going into canada or going to peurto rico.

Total posts : 45366I took the shopping tour through your list and looked at each item with the question, “can I use this?”
So far I don’t see anything I can use, but I will take another shopping tour through the list just to make sure.

Total posts : 45366that table really needs to go before i can get into storage and start going through more boxes. there is tons of stuff in there. i suspect i will soon need to make a yardsale website because when the flagging squads see my huge growing list they will think im a commercial vendor and start flagging my listings. i sure wish there was a way to trace some of these local flaggers down. it’s one thing to flag someone anonymously but once word got around that they could be tracked i believe the flagging squads on craigslist who are going around and flagging legitimate listings just because they don’t like them will go away very quickly.
and yes there is such a thing as flagging squads who use special flagging software to get in multiple flags per a user and communicate with each other via hidden forums and telephone to coordinate flagging activities which goes against craigslists policies but they still do it and get away with it.
i have even got into arguments with these flagging squads in the sites flag help forums.
a few even stated they were flagging my listings simply because they didn’t like what i was selling or the prices they were being sold at.

It amazes me how many out there simply have no life and have a need to ruin things for everyone else.
There is no other reason for what they do. Makes them feel big, a part of something, worthwhile and worthy.
Too bad it’s all limited to their screen and keyboard. When something gets in the way…go around it and avoid it.

Total posts : 45366sometimes i would love nothing but getting a nice piece of ash to introduce personally to their cranium all though i doubt even an experience like that would be enough to thin out their thick headed judgmental narrow little minds!!!!!
i wish there was code you could insert into the listing disable the flagging scripts. it would be hilarious to see them try to flag you and have the buttons not work.
here is one such software.
http://www.ferostashbox.com/stash-goodies/Craigslist-AutoFlaggeri have emailed craigslist today and made a few suggestions to implement which will pretty much dead stop flag abuse.
1) Require a user account and user be logged in to flag
2) only allow so many flags from an account per a time period
3) do not allow multiple accounts be logged in from the same ip simultaneously or within a certain time period of each other
4) maintain a list of proxies and ip’s used by the automated flagging software and actively block them for flagging purposes
5) not sure if feasible but i’m sure these flagging software has a specific signature which could also be used to disallow this software.
6) require captcha challenge each time you log into your account
i would like to get in contact with someone who would be interested in making a successor to CL. a more friendlier classifieds site.
i have idea’s and know how to build the hardware, but i know nothing of coding nor have the financial backing to get colo space for a server or a T-3 of my own.
i can be contacted at “kc8gpd” “at” “hotmail” “dot” “com”
if they wont listen we build a better moustrap and put them out of business!!!!!

“Don’t hate the media…BECOME THE MEDIA!”
Part 15 radio does exactly that. Since all of us know how junky radio is these days, we put up license free broadcast stations and try to fill that huge gap created by the “one size fits all” corporate controlled media.
The same approach…becoming our own solutions, is key to putting things right as they should be. For too long things have been let go by the wayside and now we all see the results. It is our duty now to do more to come up with better solutions instead of relying on the very ones who create all these problems to offer up their solution, which in the long run..serves only one purpose..theirs, not ours.
Your idea is a good one Robert. Let’s see if others can get on board with it and perhaps combined, a better solution will be found.

Total posts : 45366i’d like to do something similar with ebay as well. they for too long have been the only game in town with no competition to drive down pricing and the control they exert over the market.

Total posts : 45366Please review the rules for use of this forum as posted below. This thread is about equipment for sale and should pertain to this. Posts critiquing other sites or services should be made on other boards where such posts are welcomed. Thanks for taking time to review the rules.
Additional information about the Part15.us Forum rules:
The focus of this site is to encourage Part 15 hobbyists, and those curious about part 15 broadcasting, to share positive and instructional information about legal, low power broadcasting.
We seek to build a community based on mutual respect, a commitment to sharing information and a positive attitude of exploration.
Contributions not welcome include ad hominem attacks, appeals to ridicule, red herring posts, poisoning the well and agenda threads.
Contributions that do not meet the rather lax requirements outlined above will be dealt with accordingly. If there is a lesson to be learned the topic will be locked. Blatantly egregious violations will be deleted, along with the user’s account if necessary.
The judgment of the Part15.us staff is supreme, and decisions made in this regard are final. If this is not acceptable, you are cordially invited to set up your own web site, attract your own visitors, and moderate your forums as you see fit.

Total posts : 45366Informative information is valuable no matter what format it comes in, or what post it appears in. IMO, the content within this thread is not so far off the track, and contains information that most of you probably were not even aware of.
Perhaps the forum admins might want to create a general topic section for discussions that extend beyond the scope of flea power radio. Face it, there are many other things linked to low power license free broadcasting and directly affects it.
I think the admins should create a general discussion section so there is a place to extend the discussions further that goes beyond a thread topic.
In every thread currently here, there is always a little bit of sway off course. Simply look for yourself and see for yourself. That should be enough to warrant a general topic discussion section, which all of the swayed off course discussions across 90 percent of the threads here do anyway.
How about it? A general topic discussion section. That has my vote!
