Not just devices emitting noise but the whole hydro(A/C power) grid itself.
Even if you have nothing on in your house the noise is still there if you have power.

Total posts : 45366That’s true Blue Bucket, though I see a trend toward walls being put up in some places, like Pinderest puts a screen blockade up when you scroll down the page, sign in to see more. Newspapers have been doing it for a while, requiring a paid subscription, as have some technical sites that allow you to read the question but not the answers.
The worst is Facebook, you have to sign in, or be the person’s or page’s friend to view many profiles and postings, it can make it very hard to do research or find out something simple.
I like the net as it was when I was young to it, if you didn’t want to tell people something, you didn’t post it to your website, no teasers or walls.

John, we are reading them, point is, you are sharing a link from another site, not requiring a member log in HERE. Like many have said before, it does not take a college education to figure out that link was posted “OVER THERE” with the requirement of a (carefully screened and with a touch of paranoia added) valid user account allowed by the forum admin.
People can claim ownership to what they created and registered in their name, but they do not have exclusive rights to another’s registered URL and requiring an ass kissing from other people to know what it is.

Total posts : 45366Back to topic. Since the posting of the FCC look up documents page I was trying to look up Hobby Broadcasting and AM and FM and I stumbled on an out-of-date article on AM revitalization. Some of the stuff I have been talking about was discussed in the out-of-date article.
Its nice to see an up-to-date posting at the FCC’s web site regarding this. Maybe we can comment on this in the comments box to add more fuel so that we can get something good done for the hobby.
I may post this link in the PUBLIC section of the New Radio Revolution site. Again thanks for bringing these things to the light so that hobbyists can all benefit. That is a TRUE good nature of a hobby broadcaster enough said.
