Stupid Senseless Clock Change
Today is Saturday November 3, 2018, and we cannot yet legally set our clocks back 1-hour because we are still on Standard Time.
Different opinions float around about exactly when we can set our clocks back for Daylight Time.
Some people say the change should be made before going to bed for the night, others change their clocks when they awaken on Sunday morning.
Neither of those methods is according to law.
The proper way to adapt to Daylight Time is to wait until exactly 2 AM Standard Time Sunday middle-of-the-night November 4th, then set clocks back 1-hour so that they read “1 A.M.”
Households with multiple residents or occupants with bad memories often experience several clock changes resulting in being three or four hours ahead of schedule which can take weeks to sort out and is a misdemeanor.
Here at KDX Worldround Radio we hate Daylight Time and resent it to the point where we become unfriendly and disagreeable.

There, See What I Mean?
My opening post suffers from flip-flop.
Daylight time is not coming, it is going.
Standard Time is not ending, it is returning.
The confusion never ends no matter what you do to your clock.

SENSELESS AND STUPID is right.
Why can’t it be left as it is? So we can have an afternoon of daylight and it’s not as depressing.
Some of us go outside even in winter and not everyone holes up in their houses and it sucks that this is done to just kill the day with getting dark at 4:30 or 5 in the afternoon.
Not only that but most electricity is used between 5 and 7 PM and if it’s dark all the lights are on when they wouldn’t be if it was light outside…………counter productive for energy saving……..STUPID!
You can tell this pisses me off.

What a Mess
My opening post was correct after all.
We have been on Standard Time until today, now, starting in the wee hours, we are switching to Daylight Time.
My confusion over which is which is symptomatic of my reluctance to deal with it.
