Read “RadioWorld” page 36 for an interesting article that eludes to a 22 page document regarding Part 15 inspection procedures the FCC would rather no one be aware of.

The article can be found at RADIO WORLD online.
Look down the right side of the page for the link or just click this LINK TO THE ISSUE from here. Click on the “Pages” tab at the bottom and select page 36.

Total posts : 45366I like the part about the engineers whipping out their NEC calculations and charts and that its the only answer! LOL!!
Gotta love the real world stuff eh!
And the other good point is big boy toy stations so worried about fleas pecking their audiences away. LOL!!!
Well at least they are admitting something is wrong…its just too bad they are not focusing on what is really wrong.

Total posts : 45366Yeah, that is an interesting read.. There’s been some discussion about that particular article going on radio-info in which Richard Fry also was sure to provide his take on it in this thread: http://boards.radio-info.com/smf/index.php?topic=203159.0
edit:
Actually, more accurately; there’s a thread that began in reference to that particular Radio World issue.. then it morphed into a ping-pong game of sorts.December 18, 2011 at 1:26 am #23675RichPowers

Total posts : 45366I went through every inch of the above links and was transported into another whole world where reality itself was put to scrutiny, complete with an English study on the meaning of “reality,” speaking metaphorically of course.
Are your ground leads attached?
What do you mean by “attach?”

“It depends on what the meaning of the words ‘is’ is.”

Total posts : 45366You know, I never did hear what happened over the “is” question.
Clinton had a point.
Think about all the uses…..
What is “is”?
Is it “what is”? The Bible might say that. “I Is What Is!” -So Spaketh Who Is.”
At the end of the show you ask, “Is this it?” That can only mean that “is” might be “it”.
Then mother asks, “What is this?” Suddenly “is” might be “this”.
But notice one thing. There’s usually a question mark ISn’t there?”
Inter-frequency beat: is-is-is-is-is-is-is-is-is-is-is-is-is-is
Is I o.k?

Isn’t it is?

Total posts : 45366We had more fun with that little word. Every year on this same day we should pick a word and do things to it.
Now, back to radio.
