Here it is again, time for the next regular TeamSpeak meeting of The ALPB this Saturday, October 1st at 9:00 PM Eastern (DST) time.
This meeting will be the continuation of a possible Charter amendment. Member Carl Blare has entered a motion by proxy to add a line to the Charter. At the last meeting there was some discussion about the motion and it was pointed out that Charter changes require a delay of one meeting before voting. This is to notify all members before the vote so they have a chance to comment. Please attend this meeting if you’d like to express your opinion and vote.
In other news a new “Mini Seminar” was added at The ALPB Streaming page. This video was provided by member Bob Felmly “MRAM1500.” A “one-hand video” demonstration of how to setup a simple interface phone patch to allow live phone calls to be added to your stations program. If your mixer has an AUX effects loop, a very simple interface connects a telephone to your mixer.
We are always looking for new “Mini Seminar” ideas to feature. If you would like to share your ideas bring them up at the next meeting.
Member Troy “Legacy” may have an update regarding attempts by the Radio Revolution to bring forth some changes to Part 15 rules. Member Jeff “Station8” has been in conversation with an FCC Field Agent regarding their ideas and requests for experimental licensing. Sure to be interesting conversation regarding this.
Hope to hear many of you at the meeting this Saturday.
As always thanks for your support.

Total posts : 45366I plan on being at the meeting. I’ll see too if we can get Station8 to join us tonight as well.
Some of our tests with the experimental license is really nice as well. We do need to rent the FIM-71 so we can ask for a certain field strength once we get that mile on a Digital boom box in Album Rock quality Audiophile sound.
Since the license is under The New Radio Revolution myself as a founder will be able to use the license too and I plan on doing the Album Rocck quality Indoor antenna tests with the field strength it takes for an Indoor antenna at the first floor of a four plex apartment.
Than after we get the number and see the effects that will be what we ask for on FM and push extra hard for the hobby guard band 87.1-87.9 Mhz. Part of the tests already conclude many Car Radio’s now only cover down to 87.9 Mhz so every hobbyest will use that frequency first.
Hope to see you at the meeting.
