Total posts : 45366Heck WNAR has KU dishes in his backyard… That pretty much automatically puts him on a whole ‘nother level.

Total posts : 45366I clicked on the flash player and
heard an old radio show.
In the newspaper article about his
station WNAR – We’re Nostalgic About Radio –
I noticed the KU dishes in one picture. I also
really like the big reel to reel deck and the
big radio he had. One of those huge radios
that would be used in the livingroom – it’s
like a big piece of furniture. That radio must
contribute a significant amount to the electric
bill!

Total posts : 45366I’ve heard of this station before too and probably saw his site. It looks like he’s being professional about it, with a format that’s not stepping on anyone’s toes in his market, not interfering, so there’s no reason for anyone to complain.

Total posts : 45366and NOV’s as i recall instigated by the press he got. think he got NOV’d for excessive ground lead.
but he is a retired local engineer so the FCC worked with him to bring everything into compliance.
Edit: quick search of fcc site reveals no NOV, NOUO, etc he may have just been informally visted but i know he did get a visit.
