Just next to The Crow’s shortwave frequency I had a zip code jotted down, so when I returned to see how The Crow’s signal had improved in a couple of hours I dialed 6312…..
but the BC (broadcast band) at Hamsphere doesn’t cover that zip code.
Once I sorted everything out and got the correct frequencies, 6.247 The Crow was still down in the noise here by The Gateway Arch. In fact, that’s the problem. The Arch is soaking up all the signals. Likewise 6.240 MRAM was low in the noise.
There was somebody at 6.255 banging in with This Week in Amateur Radio, very loud.
Say, why doesn’t part15.us start some simulated AM and FM bands where we could all rush to obtain a frequency on a first come last serve basis?
