My first thought is vibration changing “reactance” a little but that might work.
But… it’s got potential. Is the coil considered part of the radiating element? If not, a 3′ long, 3″ wide capped PVC pipe with a 108″ CB whip coming out the top would be fully within their radiating element limit of 3m.
