I think I’ve inherited this interest in radio from my great Uncle. He worked for a company called SCI located in Huntsville, Alabama. His name was Samuel L. Broadhead. He has several patents involving FM frequency devices that are now used by all the major airlines. I thought this was really interesting. I can remember going to visit him as a child. He also was an avid classic car collector. He restored a 1938 Packard Darrin, which he researched and found to have belonged originally, to Clark Gable! He and my great aunt are gone now. However, I wish he was still around to answer my tech questions.
