The server used for the ALPB Teamspeak meeting is usually up all the time so you can do a test login anytime. This will allow problems to be found before “zero hour”.
There are two things in Teamspeak which I find helpful. In the SETTINGS>OPTIONS menu you can play a test sound to verify that the received audio can be heard. This helps me since I have two sound cards installed and don’t always remember which is connected to what.
Another feature allows you to check that your microphone is working and at the proper level. Use SETTINGS>SETUP WIZARD to set up the keyboard button to use for push to talk and to test the microphone operation and level.
