There is no choke in the line to the ground terminal of the ATU. There is a toroid input transformer to which the coax connects but the coax shield and ground terminal are common.
The manufacturer has cautioned that connecting to the ground terminal will affect compliance. However, they maintain that the coax was accepted as part of the system and does not affect compliance.
