Personally, I believe this Forum is all about helping each other. Without all the political and ego crap.
I also believe that experience rules. Theory is fine (and necessary to get started). But the rubber hits the road when you actually put the theory into practice. I’ve found that theory quite often doesn’t match up with what really happens when you actually do something (as opposed to just ruminating about it, or running simulations).
And I also believe that it’s OK to disagree and enter into spirited discussions. But at the end of the day, not to lose sight of my first point – that we’re here to help each other. Hopefully also to learn from each others experiences (my second point).
Otherwise, why bother?
