Okay, so using MyRadioStream.com is a good recommendation then?
I suppose manually adding the song information is possible while I am using devices like turntables, reel to reel, cassettes and CDs. Naturally the studio will not be manned 24/7 so I would use Zara Radio set to automatic during that time.
I want what is easier for me, but I don’t want anyone publicly calling me a crook, because I choose a server over seas.
As far as adding any transmitters on site, if I decide to try it, I’d have to split the output of the DSP1424P to feed a computer, an AM transmitter and possibly an FM one, but FM most likely won’t be used because of it’s limitations and because those anti-FM trolls.
My mixer also has a separate output which uses RCA jacks, I often use that output to send audio from my various player equipment to the input of a separate computer I use for creating my MP3s for Zara Radio. I just simply transfer those files over to the automated computer via a thumb drive. I was thinking of sending that feed to an AM transmitter, however, then I’d lose my ability to record MP3s.
Just so you know, none of my turntables are USB types, they use the phono inputs of my mixer.
I downloaded BUTT and installed it on the computer I want to stream from, I just have not, as of right now, started it up to see what it looks like, as I have to have a better understanding as to how I am going to set it up first to work in my favor, as I am sure on the ‘first run’ it will want to be setup for the first time and I am not sure right now, what information I should be entering into any of the required fields.
I do have the user manual and I am reading through it http://butt.sourceforge.net/manual.html
