Did you try opening Notepad (or some other word editor) first, then with Notepad open the log file?
I don’t think it matters where you store the log files. I made a folder called Zara Logs in the My Documents folder; C:Documents and SettingsBerserkMy DocumentsZara Logs (Berserk is the user name.) But, I could have called it anything else and put it in the root directory C: also.
I duplicated your file path and it works ok. I can either double click the file name or right click and select “open” and the file opens in Notepad.
There may be a file association in Windows telling Windows that a file named *.log is a font instead of the text file that it is.
Try opening your word editor first and from there open the file C:WINDOWSDesktopRic Radio Logs2006-04-06.log and let me know what happens.
