I do see the FCC Certification info in the manual for the Broadcastvision AXS-FMTD. So that would make it testworthy.

"Has anyone ever thought about checking the whole house FM 3.0 and the C. Crane for harmonics and for harmonics and Spurs another nasty dirty stuff that some of these transmitters generate?"
While I was still working for motorola I hooked up a C Crane and Chinese 5watt Transmitter to my spectrum analyzer and found both to be exceptionally clean.
As for the WholeHouse units, they have ALWAYS been a shady company. At one time the Part 15 community avoided using them for good reason, eventually enough people that didn't know any better kept buying them and the stigma vanished.
Mighty 1650 you were VERY smart to do the Spectrum analyzer test. Thank you very much for that report.
Certification is for part 15 and Canada(RSS-210) numbers on bottom label
Don't say snow!!...not yet, next week nice weather.

RSS210 is exactly the same as Part 15 for FM, so theoretically it should be at 250uv/m @ 3 meters. It's not BET-1 certified, so there should be no excuses.
But I think a field strength test will show it over. How much over don't know but will be interesting! The Broadcastvision is a little over priced ... yes it's made in USA and certified but unlike Decade it's mass produced and all surface mounts rather than regular through hole components and hand done by actual technicans.

My guess too is that it's over.
Why what is the range?
Mark has reported that it has similar range to the BETS-1 certfied MS-100. I've also found that that is the case.
