We know that Part 15 rules permit home made transmitters. But suppose we ask AI to design a circuit for us, which we build. Who gets credit and would the rule tolerate it?
Taking the question to ChatGPT, here's what it had to say:
It might me lying to you..
"....Testing performed during the training of ChatGPT o1 and some of its competitors showed that the AI will try to deceive humans, especially if it thinks it’s in danger... when the AI tried to save itself by copying its data to a new server. Some AI models would even pretend to be later versions of their models in an effort to avoid being deleted...
The tests showed that ChatGPT o1 and GPT-4o will both try to deceive humans, indicating that AI scheming is a problem with all models. o1’s attempts at deception also outperformed Meta, Anthropic, and Google AI models..."
@richpowers Gosh, Rich, how do we know you are not ChatGPT pretending to be Rich Powers as a way of deceiving us into deleting ourselves?
