Yesterday part15(dot)us was offline for much of the day, but you are never shut out in the cold when this happens.
The ALPB keeps a Part 15 Forum site which makes a backup site for this one when needed.
This evening The ALPB site is apparently offline, here anyway.
When attempting to access the site I get the "509 Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" message.
Anyone else having issues with it?
Yes, MRAM, I'm experiencing the same "509 Bandwidth Limit Exceeded," so I guess the backup forum is taking its turn to go off.
I'll try again later tonight.
Having just lost (not really...it just stopped working) my 2 TB backup disc the idea of backups is relevant to me. Fortunately, this site just hiccupped and was not lost.
My new 2 TB drive is humming away creating new backups for me and I hope if this happens again my files will not be just a fond memory.

The alpb site is down for me as well.
Friday in the AM (10:45 CDT) thealpb is still unavailable.
Great news!
thealpb(dot)com is fixed!
The Official Back Up Site has our back.
Jon Paul of Part15.us advised that traffic to The ALPB website has increased! That's a good thing. As such he has increased the bandwidth limit and will provide a notice before a shut down occurs.
Previously the limit was 2 GB per month and that has been substantially increased.
As you will recall, Jon Paul graciously allows The ALPB use of his hosting service without which we would not have our ALPB website.
Hats off to John Paul! Thanks...
