If the thousands of part 15 radio broadcasters on this low power radio site had nothing better to do they'd be on here chatting idly about great antennas of the past or their doubts about ever seeing 1 Watt in their lifetime, but they do have better things to do and that's why they're not here.

The radio station crowd is traveling with devoted families, tending to loyal employees, trying to fit more numbers on small sized personal checks in big money transactions, and dreaming of the day when spare time will allow returning here to part15(dot)us to share tales of success.

As a matter of fact the seeds of their climb to greatness began here with the excellent management advice and technical guidance which propelled them into the heights of achievement.

So the next time things look slow and you wonder if part 15 is near its end, remember what you've learned today... things are better than ever for microradio.

You are probably correct Carl.  In my case, we opted not to travel this weekend.  I am taking a trip in a couple of weeks to ride some trails in Colorado on one of my motorcycles.

This weekend, I will do some programming upgrades and even work on the bike.  I like to avoid crowds.

But, the other part is, that my little station has become very stable and I just have to do show change outs for the most part.

I do have some plans to do an antenna upgrade.  I am going compress my loading coil to smaller height (length).  Why?  Because I want a second coil for backup and while I don't think I will gain any performance, it will give me a bit more buffer room on antenna-feedline total length.  I am all about compliance!

I did adopt a set of station call letters today...  I am now using KWJT...
