It is working. Clear your cache if you haven't already. Bill sent out an email about older browsers too. Hope this helps.
I hadn't yet seen the email about older browsers. Odd that that site feels the need to have better security than all my banks and credit card sites which work fine with my "old browsers". ACtually I'm on an older Mac (2007) with an older system and I can't upgrade to the newer Safari without bringing my system up to date -- anyway, long story. But it worked fine in Firefox 🙂

Well timinbovy perhaps when you're in the business of stealing images from your membership and publishing lies, you have to worry about people taking revenge against your site.
The day this guy called me a PIRATE and used his site to slander my "REAL NAME" in front of a number of people is the day I'll laugh when he is shut down for good.
Being a part 15 supporting website does not give him any legal reason to play FCC investigator, specially if the evidence he has is false. I would not have had a problem with that site until HE hosted stuff stolen from my Facebook page and he still continues to host those stolen images on his website registered under an alias name from Monroe CT that information is from whois.com At least my radio station Facebook page was registered under my real name not an alias!
I am no longer involved in radio broadcasting, there are too many morons out there that make it not worth being a part of the hobby. Someone is always going to accuse you of something taking away the enjoyment of it.
I sold off all my Behringer equipment, VMX1000 mixer, MDX1600, DSP 9024 and a local ham operator wants my Ramsey FM100 so there goes my last piece of equipment. Good riddance!
The FCC can visit anytime there's nothing left but a Realistic Pro 2006 scanner hooked up to an outdoor archer scanner antenna. The one, some engineer named Ray F. Burns called a 'Dominator'????? Glad he thinks so!!
Bruce.
I don't agree with what that other site did and I'd use a VPN and there are a few good FREE ones you can use to visit the site anonymously. It should never be visited without a VPN. And I'd be sure to change all of your user names on that site so he doesn't know who you are and where you live. Yes there is good info there as is with any other "Trap site" so everyone can still visit the site but don't do it without a VPN or proxy server and make sure its an anonymous proxy server not a transparent proxy. A good place to check to see if your Internet is truly scrambled is http://ipdatabase.com and en.utrace.de. Privateinternetaccess is a good site to go to for VPN and best canada VPN are a few FREE ones to use. I'd really shell out the $9/mo and use BTGuard or a good paid VPN if your gonna visit hobbybroadcaster as they have servers in diferent countries. You could sign up for multiple accounts so he does not know who is using what account. Maybe use 30-50 different anonymous accounts under different countries. Cyberghost VPN has tons of servers too. Privacy on these trap sites is a must because it won't be long till your investigated just for visiting a "Trap Site" like your a common criminal.
As for the part 15 rules: there seems to be something going on with the 87.9 being soon aded to part 15. The Scoche transmitter (I know they are those 10 inch from your receiver's antenna) transmitter bit I saw they go down to 87.9. Could the FCC be revising part 15 FM a bit? Plus I'm sure the dude at the other site doesn't realize that the Decade CM-10 transmitter that he talks about is really a chinese (HLLY) transmitter modified. And this is why HLLY and SainSonic AX-05B is FCC Part 15 Certified. Its a HLLY inside and out. And funny thing is that some of the wording is a copy cat of the Whole House FM Transmitter 3.0 when they talk about not needing a license because their transmitters are certified.
Unless he works for the FCC he doesn't know what is comming around the bend but I can tell you every tech geek knows FM Radio is seeing its better days and broadcasters are looking to Internet Radio as a better medium than FM Radio. Many cars have built in Hot Spots and Internet Radio's in the dash. It won't be long till you'll be using your Internet Radio for all broadcasts and FM will be for those who are on food stamps and can't even afford Internet to begin with. I think some of the food stamp phones have FM Radio's in them.
At the admin, I do not know if you referring to my posts.
I have much to say but at the moment do not have the time to post what I have to say in a thought out process.
But I will say this, my contribution to this topic is that using an ID and other contact info does not prevent issues with legal accusations including false accusations indicating that I intentionally operated a PIRATE radio station. I presented proof of that and also provided my side of the story.
I do not know about the rest of you out there, but what often happens to PIRATES when the FCC catches up to them? Hefty fines and possible imprisonment. If you take that lightly then I do not know what to say. I was accused as being a pirate by a website that I went to for assistance and help. It is also what was taking place behind the scenes. They were tracking me down with intent of calling the FCC on me. For those who venture there, ask Bill who owned the PIRATE radio station, he'll tell you my real name and real address. Not the name of the "real" person who owned and operated each of the FM transmitters.
Yes his site is a trap site, I am sure if you turn in a few PIRATES here and there, the FCC will show some special favoritism. That is fine, BUT DON'T USE ME AS YOUR FREE TICKET! I'm not a scapegoat!
Most of the members here at part15.us have access to that other website and it's forum board and have made a final conclusion based on accusations over there against me, that I am a LAW BREAKING CRIMINAL! I am not talking about someone else's situation here, I am talking about my situation. He used his website to falsely accuse me and I feel I have a right to defend myself.
Since he banned me and blocked my ability to post there, he also took my voice away and left his community to believe that I blatantly broke a law and that I am a worthless piece of garbage. When people see that, they also form an unfair opinion of me based on his voice. I do have the right to defend myself.
Bruce.

Just because the transmitter tunes to certain frequencies doesn't mean you can transmit on them and I don't think the FCC is revising the rule there...just wishfull thinking. Wish that was true! The Decade transmitters only transmit from 88.1 to 107.5(Industry Canada) and the CM-10, a modified CZE or CZH Chinese transmitter has been changed to only those frequencies. The Wholehouse 3 transmits from 88 to 108(no lower than 88) and the Ccrane goes from 88.3 to 107.7. Even ramsey transmitters I believe don't go lower than 88.0(could be wrong).
Only the uncertified transmitters go lower than 88.0 and the Chinese ones go lower because over there the FM band is from 74 to 108 or thereabouts.
Europe and China etc. are different from North America.

I don't know if FM radio has seen it's better days....maybe AM has.
Don't think that too many people sit at home and use their computers as a radio...probably the same number that pay for satalite radio. Don't think a lot of people will pay to listen to radio, whether they can afford it or not, and regular radio is not going away yet. People are now switching back to over the air free TV because of the outrageous cable prices. There will be, just like TV, always over the air radio, just like there will always be over the air TV. And it will stay anolog for a long time because there's no need to change.....FM has good fidelity and no noise interference like AM and Anolog TV.
It's true that "pay" radio...satallite and internet, has programming, like cable and satalite TV not found on regular radio and TV, and music genres not on regular radio, but the majority of people won't pay for it.
It's the hobby people like us that program what the commercial stations won't...and it's free!

Most Part 15 related websites, including the one you are referring to, MrBruce, are run by hobbyists. No matter how important they believe they are in their own minds, or how many decades of broadcast experience they claim they have, they really aren't all that influential. I doubt very much that any of them have any pull at all with the FCC.
And yes, ID'ing yourself doesn't stop anyone from harassing you if they so choose to do so. However, it's better than hiding. When you put yourself out there, you are proclaiming to the world that you believe what you are doing is legal, and I believe that goes a long way if the FCC does show up at the door.
As for what the people over at that other Forum believe, who cares? They're over there (as opposed to here, the premier Part 15 website & Forum) for a reason. They can believe whatever they want. I suspect that if the webmaster there told them to jump, they'd ask how high. They don't matter. The only people whose opinions really matter are those that work for the FCC.
I'm sorry that your experience in this hobby was so distasteful. If you do decide to get back on the Part 15 horse, there are plenty of people here that are willing to help you get restarted and stay legal. There's no hierarchy on this Forum; everyone has an equal say, and the moderators just try to keep things civil and on track.
In the meantime, it's probably better to ignore those other guys. While I'm sure that they have a lot to offer, their biases and delusions of grandeur colour everything they do. They're just not worth getting upset over.
Mark, while I believe that streaming will not actually supplant FM radio entirely, I do believe that it's the next big thing.
It's not only computers - smart phones and tablets are a big factor as well. Internet radios didn't do all that well, at least here, because they were a new thing to buy. Most people already have phones and tablets. Apps to take you to a radio station stream can and do blur the distinction of streaming, making it transparent to the listener.
When I'm in my car, I listen to my station on my cell phone when I'm out of range, and pipe it through my car radio.
Cars are now coming out with built-in wifi, and I'm sure that adding the capability of steaming to most new car radios is coming.
In my opinion, you can forget about digital broadcasting - streaming (which is already here) will not let it really get started, as the former is just so convenient.
