HELLO Carl, I know you are out there,
I was over on the ALPB website.
There is a lot of content available over
there, which is really cool.
You might want to try this - but no
pressure.
If anybody out there loves
"The Last Minute Radio Theater"
as much as I do, well - all I can
say is you all must be out there.
Carl - I know TLMRT is really a
show within a show, but you might
want to pull them out and set them
aside separately. If you made them
available, I would run one particular
episode every day after sign on (if
my station was running.) Or I would just listen
to it every day. (I'm not going to say
which episode. I just know that I spilled
a glass of milk all over the floor because
I was laughing so hard at that particular
episode. (No drinking anything when
listening to Carl's shows.))
Anyway, as far as the Last
Minute Radio Theatre is concerned -
maybe the episodes would make good fillers at
the top of the hour.
I don't know...
Bruce, DOGRADIO
Hello everybody, I am Flotilla, Carl's assistant. Carl told me to come on here and tell you that he wants to ride the success of having one listener (MICRO1700 Bruce DOGRADIO) and says, "Sure, why not?"
THE LAST MINUTE RADIO THEATERs will be submitted to MRAM for posting at thealpb.com.
Thanks, Phlotilla. I needed that.
Bruce, DOGRADIO
Bruce, Flotilla won't let me spell her name "Phlotilla" because she doesn't believe that "ph" is pronounced like an "f." She thinks that a small "poof" sound has to be added to the "ph" spelling and she doesn't like poof sounds.
As to "theater vs. theatre," I have come to think that in America we associate snack food with theater entertainment, and the word "eater" is inside every theater.
I knew you would see those
different spellings. That's why I put them in
there. Well... I guess it wasn't completely
intentional... But since you have responded
to them I'm not surprised.
What a treat! I'll be looking forward to
those episodes. You're very nice to do that!
Bruce, DOGRADIO
5:30 AM on a still dark Friday morning I was warming up the computer with the transmitters still off, or so I thought. I heard clear music from the adjoining room and found that it was coming in at full S-reading on my FM channel.
I thought, "Oh no. A new station has signed onto my frequency and I'm about out of choices. I had already been driven off two other frequencies by new translator stations."
But it was me the whole time. Somehow my playlist had started and some stray audio files were playing. My FM transmitter was on even though I thought it had been turned off.
Reality isn't always what you think it is.
