For the Part 15 Station. If you'd like one with your Station Info, let me know. All you have to do is JOIN THE ALPB!
If you're already a member, GREAT! Let me know if you want one.
The name of the country has been changed to "The Homeland," based on victors spoils won from Germany in 1945, and I would like my ALPB Authorization Certficate to reflect "our" new country.
Beautiful work MRAM!
KDX Worldround Radio
Affton, Missouri
Very nice.
Ummm, but let's not forget the global nature of the ALPB, and the fact that there are some members outside the U.S.
NEEDED... input on how a Canadien license would be worded...... for AM and for FM.
We never hear from Mexico or South America, maybe they have low power.
MRAM has coined a brilliant idea!
Yes, I can forge a certificate of authorization for any location.
That's "forge" as to beat into shape rather than produce a fraudulent representation.
My car is a Forge Focus.
Very nice
Say Rich, the consensus is I need to change the logo at the bottom right which is the FCC seal. I did alter the text with straight line text as you can see.
I tried doing circular print of "Association of Low Power Broadcasters" to replace "Federal Communications Comission" but the only software I have that will do that is Neato label maker for CD/DVD discs. I did get it but not well.
I'm told you can do this. I have the logo with no lettering on it if you'd like to give it a try.
Do the chairs around your antenna help or hinder?
Would that antenna be the "Antenna Story" on my website? If so, the chairs weren't electrically connected so they would have been a parasitic array.
I didn't do any testing, moving the chairs to see if I could steer my pattern.
Mram, I generally use Photoshop and applying the text to a circular path is not a problem, so sure send me the blank logo and I'll do it for you. But to be honest I thought what you did looks great!
Just of note.. often times, unless it's something complicated I use a freeware program called Photofiltre 7, becuase it's so lightweight and quick to load.. but it also is surprisingly powerful and even features layers and accepts plugins (including a text 2 path), it has a lot of nice features - it's definately the best freeware photoshop-like program I've ever used. If your interested: http://www.photofiltre-studio.com/pf7-en.htm , the "PhotoFiltre7" is the free version, and the same one I use for quick editing instead of loading up the resource intensive (but beloved) Photoshop.
But yes, I'd be happy to apply circular text to it..
.
I move that we (members of ALPB) accept the wonderous Flea Powered Circular Compliancy Sticker designed by Rich Powers.
But I also agree that the logo already produced by MRAM is very good.
I don't mean to confuse the choice.
Does anyone want to Second either of my motions?
My posting that was not a suggestion to use it.. only an acknowledgement of circular text! Personally I think the part15flea is too cartoony for the official looking document Bob created.
I just awoke from a couple hour nap, in a few minutes I'll get to the seal Mram sent for modification.
while i totally dig the flea.. i agree; too cartoony for the oficial certificate.
And.. i really want one of those. ๐
How 'bout this one?
