Ralph Nader, the Nation's Consumer Advocate, has started a "Radio Hour."
The trouble is it's a "Video Hour."
I haven't found an audio-only download so far, but maybe I'm not as smart as I am.
Anyway, I plan to record this over to audio in real time so I can use it.
Is there a quicker way to grab audio from a video file?
Sharing the Nader Radio discovery with you.

Carl, that actually already is an mp3 file, not a video, it's just that it's embedded inside a flash player.. a direct link to the mp3 in this case is: http://traffic.libsyn.com/ralphnaderradiohour/ralph_nader_ep_1.mp3
If your browser happens to be Firefox or other monzilla brand browser like Thunderbird or SeaMonkey (which by the way SeaMonkey really is the best, I've used exclusivey for years), then the easiest way for you to extract the mp3 out of flash players would be to install the Flashgot plugin http://flashgot.net which will extract and download the underlying media out of flashplayers for you, which in this case is an mp3..
But anyway, the mp3 your trying to get right now is http://traffic.libsyn.com/ralphnaderradiohour/ralph_nader_ep_1.mp3
And while on the subject, if you ever want to extract audio from an online video, what I usually use is an online coverter at http://www.vidtomp3.com/ .. Say the video is on youtube, just copy the url address of the video, then go to http://www.vidtomp3.com/ and paste it in that box and click covert to download the mp3
I'll send you the bill in the morning.
Whoa! Someone else who has heard of, and USES SeaMonkey!
I admit I do most of my browsing in Safari (I'm a Mac guy) but I use Seamonkey to build ALL my web pages and have for years. It's simple, basic, free, and builds web sites that work on every computer on the planet.
Don't want to highjack the thread, but YEA Seamonkey!

This tops off my education, thanks to the best professors we have here at Part 15 University!
I live in a convent with nuns which explains why I don't know anything about the world, but even the nuns like to hear good stories and I'll tell them about SeaMonkey.
Thank you so much for all the secrets.
Wikipedia contains a nice history of SeaMonkey, and I have for you the official SeaMonkey website:

This morning I scrolled through old e-mail looking for things to delete, and I found a message from Erika Baer in 2009 telling me that all programs at Progressive Radio are "available free of charge."
