O.k. relatively new to part 15 microbroadcasting. I purchased a unikit FM stereo transmitter. It's advertised output is rated at 25mw. What percentage or fraction of 1 full watt is this? In my uneducated mind, I want to think it's 1/4 of one watt. But, it's not that simple obviously. Or, is it? But, something tells me that would be too much power for part 15 broadcasting.

Am I correct in assuming 25 millionths of one watt?
A power of 25 milliwatts is 25/1,000ths of a watt.
It takes thousands of times LESS power than that to generate a compliant Part 15 FM field (250 microvolts/meter measured 3 meters from the transmit antenna), so you'll have to keep that in mind.

Thanks for the quick response and patience for my lack of knowledge!
