My little hobby station has been broadcasting 3 years now.
Its a standard amt3000 with a homebrew coil/antenna, with a 6ft ground rod.
It covers a good mile when the Sun is up.

From Peace Train radio I expanded to local CATv producing, and have a 1 hour show on local Cox ch18 public access TV.
So its continues to be fun.
My internet stream isnt working, and I dont know how it quit, some software setting Im sure.
Oh well.

As to the internet connection, Im having trouble with mine as well.
Maybe not the connection itself but perhaps the encoding/decoding software on my computer. Seems like the streams I connect to fall out or buffer and have to be restarted.
I have approached my local cable company about broadcasting on the audio portion of the public access channel but they referred me to someone outside of Timewarner and I have not followed up on it much further than that.
It would be great to increase my coverage through the cable company since I know alot of business' have the public access channel playing.
I don't really want to appear on TV just want to offer different programming than what is available on local radio.
