The fellow talked. After talking for awhile he talked some more.

But what did he say?

Nothing said about improving the programming on AM.

Since there are fewer stations there and in more rural areas none at all till nighttime, and taking into account the drawbacks..interference from hydro. lesser quality audio etc and commercial broadcasters wanting to avoid it, this should be opened up to hobby broadcasting like ourselves. The power allowable should go to 1 watt from 100MW and as long as some rules are followed the AM band should be the hobby broadcast band.
