I'll be interconnecting two traffic signal cabinets with microwave equipment that will provide up to 150 mb/s network link. The equipment is extremely simply to assemble and install. It is rated for 8 miles unobstructed line of site. The output power is 250 milliwatt. And it is a Part 15, license free system.
It's called EZ-Bridge-Ultra and for the pair it cost about $500. But they also offer a less expensive system at about half that price for a pair.
This could be a used as an STL over IP on a home network. For info use this link:
Click on the PRODUCTS button on the manufacturers website to see their other systems.
These sytems are perfectly suited for part 15 broadcast installations.
