The reason I have done another LPH after just releasing the last one is because I'm avoiding responsibility. I should be working on my corporate taxes, but I don't want to. That makes doing other things more fun than usual.
A long Low Power In the News segment reports on many of the stories first seen here at part15.us.
I do an Editorial Comment suggesting that certification for pre-built transmitters should be dropped, since rule 15.219 covers the same base, and that way manufacturers could lower prices and sell many more transmitters.
While most licensed stations have been de-fanged by corporate media, four local stations are owned by one man who gives wild daily scoldings to area politicians. We bring you a few moments from his amazing show.
Bob and Ray make a kiddies record offer.
A talented guy from Minneapolis named Jerry Modjeski presents Episode 1 of "Dick Future and his Dancing Stool".
Slight adult language here or there.

VERSION TWO of LPH#85 is now available.
I added an advisory at the front "Contains adult language."
And I shortened the "Grim Reaper of Radio" segment to make room for a new spot in the "Doing It by Low Power" series, which runs alongside the now-popular "How To Do It" spots as heard on T.I.S. Radio in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Version One of #85 is NOT being withdrawn and can be run if desired, making this TWO PROGRAMS IN ONE.
Carl - because of difficulties beyond my
control, I've only heard part of the show
so far.
Let me tell you one thing that I found
very touching:
It was wonderful when you mentioned so
many of us on the board and what we were
doing. It's amazing to know that - after hearing
a list - that there were so many of us.
And I'm not even doing anything. But you put
me on the list, too. That was nice.
Bruce, DOGRADIO
