Hi Darwen & part 15 E: check into this please and see what you get for an answer.
Get a hold of part 15 department and ask this question to them.
Question - What are you allowed to run for a part 15 am and FM transmitter ?
Example homebrew, Verification, kits like Ramsey, Sstran, Transmitter from other country's.
Question - ask if the verification transmitter is the same as the kit transmitters?
Question - See if they will give you document on this we had no luck?
We already know that certified Am and Fm transmitters are legal!
I think you will be surprise in the answer you will get.
RICH As for you all we are doing is looking into what can and can not be done in the test it doesn't mean where going to do it ,But we are just looking into various options that's all.

Don't post things you cannot prove. I agree with the sentiments of others that you guys are seriously damaging your reputation and credibility, if there is even any left.
We have our own Resident Agent and he has not commented.
To be precise we have a resident hobby agent.
Precision is his middle name.
I actually haven't seen him post anything anywhere in a while.
I don't need the ridicule and abuse anymore. We tried for participation since June 5th 2015 and at first things were pretty good so long as everyone got their own way. But when we set up a members only section of our site things got dicey from a few. Too much fighting rather than trying to fix a problem in which I though everyone would be a part of.
We're sorry about conflicting information that we got from different agents of the FCC but again if they can't tell US RIGHT, how can we give others the right information. Yes thank God for all of you that you guys were right.
As far as part 15 law changes for improvement The New Radio Revolution is not going to mess with part 15 and go a new route with the few active loyal members it has. No more public information will be given to the rest of the part 15 community. I myself, nor anyone of our members need the headache and hardship as if we owe the world something. We did advise others to do their homework. Instead it was all splattered on us and we were the ones the whole part 15 community wanted to mack. I'm done with it already.
People's paranoia and unwillingness to try and understand what we are trying to achieve is just something I can't wrap my head around. So just like anything else abuse caused our decision to no longer worry about part 15 law unless we start to see more participation and homework from others in the hobby.
When the FCC gave us the first bit of wrong information I was doubtful for part 15 and knew I was to be ridiculed I expected it and I already knew that if it got to a point we'd go our separate ways. So now if you want to change your laws have at it. But you have a real uphill battle not only with the FCC, but among each other from what I see.
Its been fun but we're going to get something done and we don't need the ridicule anymore and heartache its not work all of it. Good luck in flycasing.
Thelegacy said "We're sorry about conflicting information that we got from different agents of the FCC but again if they can't tell US RIGHT, how can we give others the right information."
You can't control the information that the FCC gives you, but you CAN control your reaction to it, and conclusions. If you had merely posted what this FCC agent had told you, and asked what gives, I'm sure that many here would have helped and stopped you from arriving at the wrong interpretation.
So OK, you made a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes. I make them all the time. The thing is to accept it (not blame others) and learn from it. Making mistakes is an essential part of moving anything forward.
I don't believe that anyone is criticizing you personally, nor heaping abuse or ridicule. They ARE questioning that reaction (which is quite different).
I personally admire your enthusiasm. But there is such a thing as over-enthusiasm. I'm sure that everything you (and others associated with the New Radio Revolution) did was done with the best of intentions. But when you get dubious or conflicting information, it's always a good idea to step back and seek independent verification before jumping to any sort of conclusion. That, I believe, is the take-way from all of this, as we've learned that FCC agents (as well as Industry Canada agents) don't always know what they are talking about, particularly around Part 15.
You did nothing wrong....Just reported what a so called expert in the FCC told you.
I just thought that this was info that should be brought to the attention of everyone in this hobby and I had your permission to post it.
There has been stuff like this with Industry Canada agents also. These incompetent agents are out in the field without proper knowledge of the law and this should not be.
I don't understand the ridicule you got ...you just reported what you were told, you are just the messenger.
Don't know what this has to do with your continuing on the path you were on about changing part 15...stick with it.

Who is the "resident agent" to whom you refer, and upon what do you base your proof of same?
Mark, see my post preceeding yours - we must have hit "Save" at roughly the same time.
Member Rich asks: "Who is the "resident agent" to whom you refer, and upon what do you base your proof of same?"
For my part I just went along with it as if I knew, so the other authors will need to explain who the agent might be.

Yes we were writing a reply at the same time.

"... You did nothing wrong....Just reported what a so called expert(s) in the FCC told you. ..."
Having no posted proof here needed to support the statement in the clip response above, then this is only hearsay. Could such original posts, however hopefully based, even approach fraudulence?
The negative (but valid) reactions here to these posts could have been avoided if the needed detail had been provided originally, OR if the posting of those comments had been delayed until they were proven/provable.

Thanks for posting this admission, but might doing so lead to questions/distrust about your past and future statements?
