Thhrough all the noise I heard a religious broadcast on 1710. Not sure where it was coming from as it faded in and out, so I am guessing that it was skywave propagation. The preacher man was preaching in English so again as a guess, the station was state-side and not Part 15. Also, it was well after sunset locally.
I thought part 15 AM is only allowed up to 1700 Khz? I know the Talking House only goes to 1700 Khz. So that in mind I thik I'm right there.
Hi Guys: I picked that station about a week ago on a grundig 450 radio.
So i deside to do research on it and this is what i found.
The station is reglious WGRL 1710 in miami florida.
When i heard the station audio quality it was crap sound like they had mud in there mike.
But if you do research on the call sign in the fcc data base and radio locater you will find a different answer.
Station 8
