Well I have been very busy lately. I am also on vacation in the Pococnos right now; but that is besides the point.
I feel that Part15.us is shifting a bit from the close-knit group of people I grew to love on here. I, too, though, am changing. I am busier than ever with my two bands recording hours and hours of material and editing our stuff. In total in just my one band (with my great friend and amazing musician Nils and Teddy) we have over 100 hours of stuff. So you can imagine that takes every night for us to go through it. I am also starting classes again in a week and that will for sure cut in to my schedule a ton.
I wish to continue to fight for free radio and to fight for us to be able to broadcast legalyl up to a watt. More importantly though; I want to get people my age (millenials) more and more interested in independant media (including stations we all run) and progressive politics. My calling is undoubtablely making my Free Thinker Radio format and show a nationally syndicated show. It's ambitious but f*** it.
And of course........................girls. What do you expect from a 19 year old? Well that and the use of certain green plants that make the nights a lot nicer, but we'll leave it at that.
Regardless, I love this forum still, and feel we are onto something great. But I cannot be on daily. I'll try, but I'll admit there have been people on here who drive me nuts. They'll remain nameless, but I'd like to make this plea with you--
We're all radio nerds. We love DX'ing, we love music, we love making our stations go as far as we can make them go, and we love talking about radio. Does there really need to be any drama? We'll all pretty much on the same page (or at least chapter) so there shouldn't be any issues.
Let's try to get along as best we can fellas. The A-Train isn't going anywhere; I'll still be on here making havoc and releasing those rant shows and HOPEFULLY will continue with Free Thinker Radio if I have free time. And I really want to go live again on MRAM's station WCFI-LP 96.1. Bob-I'll shoot you a text.
And as always- peace and 73s.
Atrain Radio is a One-Man Mega-Corporation.
Girls. Teach them about radio.
We'll keep the website going so you can stop by when you're in town.
Atrain my friend, you have no clue, you and I are so much alike in real life.
Would love to talk to you in private one on one, drop me a line with personal contact info, or I'll give you mine via email.
Just email that info to [email protected]
Bruce.
Carl haha I sure do teach em about radio! I have believe it or not peaked a lot of their interests in radio. And I will at least be on here weekly, that I know I can promise.
Bruce- I sent you an email!
The drama seems to be done with for now.
Rock on man, sounds like you have a plan and having a good time at it.
