Besides being a radio amateur, and podcaster (klingonword.org) , I am an on-and-off again part15 fm transmitter (radio.mrklingon.org). Lately the transmitter hasn't been up much - and due to the changes in the setiathome project, my old radio station Win95 box can no longer run SetiAtHome software - so I won't keep it on 24x7.
This project: http://shufflehacks.blogspot.com/2005/12/imouse-shuffle-fm-transmitter.html reminded me that I could load up my playlists on my shuffle, and have a portable radio-station-in-a-box. Plus... moving the transmitter out of my basement will definitely improve the canakit range!
