Well, first of all, it's just as nice as Part 15.Us.
(Oh yeah, I guess ALPB also stands for the
American Lutherin Publicity Bureau, which is
fine with me, and some of you must already
know this.)
But here's what is really great:
Pictures of stations!
Wow!
Multiple pictures of Radio Boy's station.
Lefty's station. MRAMs station (seen before).
And Johny's RAG FM! I think these are what
most of these stations look like. (My station
looked similar, when it was running.) I'd love
to see more pictures of more stations.
And then there was the creme de la creme:
The Internet Building at KDX! What taste!
What style! And how mysterious!
I only have one question:
Carl: How do you fit the whole internet
in there???
Bruce, The Dog Radio Group
Hi Bruce,
MRAM will be glad you like his excellent work building the ALPB website.
You are perceptive to wonder how the Internet is able to fit into so small a building, and I will tell a story.
Actually, that's a lawn equipment tool shed, but there's just enough space for the KDX Work Station where I live next to an AMT3000 transmitter.
In the past we had an audio video studio (now I'm merging one reality into another), with an entire wall lined with cabinets filled with equipment inside and on top, stacked high. There was a walking space behind the cabinets for wiring, and it was draped, tangled, criss-crossed and mazed back there, so I took a photo of all this wire hanging in a non-descript nook, and labeled it "The Internet".
That picture may be lost, but the maze of wire is still back there, so I'll take a new picture and submit it for posting alonside the Internet Building.
The other stations look more like stations. Mine is kind of an ancient avalanche of misplaced jumble.
