i appologize in advance for the politics but it is the backgorund story as to why i am selling.
here's the deal. i am seriosuly considering selling my entire station. i am not pleased with the outcome of this election. i see many bad things coming down the line for lots of people. especially those drawing government benefits. paul ryan and donald trump have made it clear they intend to deeply cut and privatize everything some social security to food stamps to section 8 housing. the loss of that much economic stimulus will have very disasterous effects on the overall economy. think tent cities called trumpvilles. so i would like to sell the whole staton as an entire lot for $8000.00 (approx. price subject to change a little of i locate more gear and add to lot) cash only and local pickup. i will include everything. i will be writing up a complete list of all the gear i have included in this sale. it is a complete professional carrier current and free radiate station under 15.221, 15.239, and 15.219.

i am looking for something i can pack all my camping and survival gear on to help with the impending income loss followed by homelessness that this presidency is sure to bring to many.

it is a complete station including a preloaded automation computer.

Read your posts on the ALPB forum and yes, if what's on the Republican agenda as you outlined ever happens you have every right to be worried about your life and future and you are not alone. But giving up your life, starting by selling your whole station and planning for something that hasn't happened yet is an over reaction.
Try to calm down and think this through...I don't know what your situation is or anything about you other than this forum, but don't worry about crossing a bridge till you get to it.

I'm sure that following through with their agenda of scrapping or privatizing medicare, social secuity, other things will cause a great uprising from 1/4 of the population who are seniors and a whole generation who are going to be retiring and don't have lots of savings. They will have to listen.
It took civil unrest but Nixon got the US out of Vietnam without winning or an end because the people wanted out of the war and the draft to end.
And in the richest country in the world a society that would be if the Republican agenda happens would be unacceptable so see what happens and maybe try to take an active part in not letting it happen.

Eh I wouldn't jump the gun so quick.
Another thing is, having a station on the grassroots, community level is a good thing, you and others can communicate through it too. I've already seen it written that if there is a big shift in how things are done, community radio will be a more important tool for the people to have.
but i have been having major panic and anxiety attacks and nightmares.
i am not really ready to sell at this time, these things take time to sell when they cost this much, so i am getting started early on.
i will be keeping a small transmitter, laptop, etc. for a portable clandestine station should the shtf. the bed on that bike is pretty large and can fit a lot of gear and it has 42 speeds an solar powered electric assist along with disc brakes.
i have test ridden one at the factory with my mom back in 2010 and they are real easy to pedal without the electric assist. i road one up a 30 deg dirt road with my mom as a passenger and me pedling by myself. was a breeze to peddle up the hill.
i also have an inverter and extra panels to mount on the bike to run my ham radios.
i have tents, small gas stove, fishing stuff, portable electronics, etc.
i just need a way to be mobile with all that gear while being self sufficient. ie: no need for fossil fuels to be mobile.
