I like the diagram of the preassembled
ground place, with the #4 wire feeding
the radials. That really is something.

Hi Bruce  I ran across it while doing research on part 15 am station it's very well explained and with a picture which makes it nice, and also show how long it needs to be for the different frequency. Glad i could help.Take it easy Jeff

Reposting this. This was a post on a different thread that links to some great YouTube videos showing how to install radials in your yard. You don't have to bury them and they still won't get snagged by the mower. http://www.part15.us/comment/26225#comment-26225

I kinda of doing a few things at once, so forgive me if this is already answered; does burying them offer any advantage (better bonding to earth?) over letting the grass pull it down?
